About the University

The Mahima Shiksha Samiti, Jaipur, has established Jaipur National University (a venture of Seedling Group of Institutions), on October 22, 2007, as per the Ordinance 7 of 2007,
promulgated by the Government of Rajasthan. The Seedling Institutions, namely, the Seedling Academy of Design, Technology and Management (SADTM) and the Seedling Institute for Integrated Learning & Advanced Studies (SIILAS) have been merged into the Jaipur National University. Currently, nearly 3500 students are on its rolls. Right from the very beginning the SeedlingGroup of Institutions had ambition to achieve the status of a full-fledged University, and the Government of Rajasthan has facilitated realization of this cherished dream.

The Jaipur National University is located at Jagatpura, Jaipur, on nearly 50 acres of land. It
has a well developed campus having world-class infrastructure. The Seedling Group is a non-profit making institution, imparting education from elementary level to higher education.

The University aims to achieve excellence in teaching and research by way of its vigorous programmes and rigorous academic audit. In the wake of rapid strides in Science and Technology, Mass Communication, Law and Governance, Management, Social Sciences and Language, Literature and Culture, the Jaipur National University would meet the aspirations of the young generation and fulfill its social responsibilities by imparting high quality teaching and conducting relevant and innovative research.
